Altered Sketch Book

Hey Bloggers....
I haven't blogged in a while, I've been working on a few different projects, and one of them was this sketch book I altered for my little sis who's going to school to become a fashion designer! Excited for her!
Here it goes....

A page I added to the book with different fashion terms ...

A tag I added using a Tim Holtz stamp, Graphic 45 sticker, and some black lace.

it has arrived

What has arrived??? My smash book journal of course!!! ok I'm like excited to start journaling in it... I have the Mod one and I {heart} it.... can't wait to start jotting down memorable moments and everything else..... this is definitely a LIKE... did I mention that the pages are sooo cute .... and they make awesome gifts too! ok I think I'm done rambling .... happy smashing!

Another CAS-ual Fridays Challenge

I had no idea SMASH BOOKS were so popular!?!?!? Isn't their commercial super cute? it make you want one,well me at least ;-) So with that being said I went online to search for one, and so many places didn't have them or it took longer than 3 weeks to come. YIKES! I found one on Amazon.com (yeah the last one in stock) lucky me.... anyway its in route along with other SMASH BOOK goodies... Excited!!!!

Altered Composition notebook

I was again 'N.SPRIED' by another card designer on this project. Her name is Regan over at Emora Designs.  She is so creative and I adore her work :-)  I made this notebook for my little girl, she loves to write, draw, and scribble.  She's quite an artist I might add! Tell me what you think.

Post Card Swap

Hey guys Kim D. hosted a post card swap using Tradewind paper over at The Scrap Beach.  This was my first swap and it was kinda fun to create these.  When I looked at the papers I tried to see which vacation spot came to mind.  On the other two I just left them very simple.  The mesaurements for the post card were 4x6.  Thanks Kim for hosting this swap.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARD

This is a birthday card I made for my little nephew.  I think it came out so cute.  When he received it in the mail, he LOVED it and that brought a smile to my face.  For the images, I can't remember the name of the line of paper, but I fussy cut the clouds, cars, tractor and airplane all from the same line of paper, and put them up on dimensionals.  I stamped the 'Happy Birthday' with the Curly Cute stamp set from Stampin' Up, and heat embossed it with black embossing powder.  The yellow and orange cardstock are from stampin' up as well.

So I did this card for a challenge over at Papercraft Star and noticed I left out something when I looked at the sketch (after I finished it )... :-( but overall I enjoyed doing it.
